My Top 5+1 best travel photography Gadgets by Dario Branco

Today is going to be all about gear.

Over the years i been wasting money trying to find the best gear to make my life more practical when i am traveling. All the way from backpacks, passing through cutlery and finishing up in small card reader/adapters.

On my last trip to Porto Covo, i realized that it is possible to carry very minimal gear and still be able to achieve great results. For this small list i will not include Cameras, Drone and my travel Tripod. I am focusing on the smaller gadgets and it should be no surprise by now that i am carrying at least the Fuji X100T every time i go somewhere new.

Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 DG OS HSM by Dario Branco

I have been waiting to get a "standard" zoom lens with a bigger aperture for a while. The Canon version is too expensive for me, on the website I was looking it is currently 2000€ and the Sigma is "only" 1300€. With that said I was able to pay 600€ for this lens after a few discounts and selling the Canon 24-105mm. Being able to get it for less than half the price was also one of the main reasons I bought it.

The Gear in New York by Dario Branco

When I first started to travel, I always had a hard time figuring out what gear to take with me. I would take everything besides the tripod and the 70-200mm.

Meanwhile, I understood that I don't need most of the gear I was taking with me. I learned that I would use some gear while some not at all.

For New York, it was no different with a few exceptions.
