This is probably my last post about Japan. I wanted to finish this chapter all at once. Here and on Instagram. Today is going to be more about me than the trip itself. For that, I am more or less sorry.
I mean I had to have a reason for going to Japan right? As a photographer, I wanted to photograph Mount Fuji. It is an iconic landscape that not trying would be a waste of time. I also wanted to be in a place where I would feel how Japanese people used to live, and still do. For me, these small details made all the difference.Read More
So now that we all know how to get from A to B in Japan is time to know where to go.
I will try to keep it short and nice and not go into many details. The most it will be three places I found cool and unexpected.
Expect some to be obvious if not most of them.Read More
Happy New Year Everyone.
Hope everything is well with you and that you are ready for what is up ahead.
For this first 2019 post, I want to give you some tips on how to get around in Japan. As always these tips are the ones that worked for me.
Before I start I been thinking that on my previous posts, mainly the ones from Thailand, you don’t want to know what I have done. I started to think of it on what I look for. Not what someone did but how they did it.
So let’s begin?Read More
What an amazing three weeks I had in Japan.
It is hard to say anything new or unexpected about Japan other than you have to go there to experience for yourself.
Still, I am going to try to tell you about my overall experience. I will try it to keep it nice and quick for now and over time tell you how I traveled around Japan.Read More
Hello friends? All good since last time?
It’s been a while since I updated you guys about anything. You know how it goes. Working a bit more than usual, not a lot to share or talk about. But I do, sometimes have a life, and I do like to go on adventures.
As you probably guessed by the title, the island of Madeira was my latest adventure.
I wanted to edit and post process all the photos before I could share with you where to go, where to eat, what to explore, how to get around, but since I arrived in Lisbon, I had no time to focus on the photos. I also don’t want to wait too long so I am taking a few hours to inspire you guys to travel to Madeira.Read More
Today is going to be all about gear.
Over the years i been wasting money trying to find the best gear to make my life more practical when i am traveling. All the way from backpacks, passing through cutlery and finishing up in small card reader/adapters.
On my last trip to Porto Covo, i realized that it is possible to carry very minimal gear and still be able to achieve great results. For this small list i will not include Cameras, Drone and my travel Tripod. I am focusing on the smaller gadgets and it should be no surprise by now that i am carrying at least the Fuji X100T every time i go somewhere new.
It has been a while since the last post. I know I said I would give my final thoughts on my trip to Switzerland but I am saving it for another time.
Meanwhile, i have been so busy with work that even if I wanted to write about Switzerland, I couldn't because I have no time.
Finally, I managed a few minutes to write about my previous months.Read More
If you know anything about me and the photography I like to make, you have noticed that I focused only on street photography during my time in Thailand. Sure, i did a few landscapes but nothing like i usually do.
At first, i thought about going to a few locations for landscapes. My idea was to go to the rice fields during sunset but once i realized that it was going to take more time then i wanted i decided to only do street photography and do landscapes from the places i was. Also, i didn't want to carry around my Canon 5D and all the stuff that comes with it. That is why i decided to take only the Fuji X100T with me for this trip.Read More
