Hope everything is well with you and that you are ready for what is up ahead.
For this first 2019 post, I want to give you some tips on how to get around in Japan. As always these tips are the ones that worked for me.
Before I start I been thinking that on my previous posts, mainly the ones from Thailand, you don’t want to know what I have done. I started to think of it on what I look for. Not what someone did but how they did it.
It’s been a while since I updated you guys about anything. You know how it goes. Working a bit more than usual, not a lot to share or talk about. But I do, sometimes have a life, and I do like to go on adventures.
As you probably guessed by the title, the island of Madeira was my latest adventure.
I wanted to edit and post process all the photos before I could share with you where to go, where to eat, what to explore, how to get around, but since I arrived in Lisbon, I had no time to focus on the photos. I also don’t want to wait too long so I am taking a few hours to inspire you guys to travel to Madeira.
You all know I love photographing with the Fuji X100T. I never tried another camera for street photography, besides my old Canon 5D Mark II, and for me, the Fuji it is the best camera for street photography.
Continuing traveling in Portugal, last Monday, it was time to get to Cabo Espichel. It wasn't an easy and relaxing trip but it was fun in the end. I learned a few things along the way about camping alone.
Something that I always felt guilty of, is that I don't know Portugal as well as I should. Is my country after all.
Last year i wrote down a list of places i wanted to visit in Portugal. Since then, that list is getting bigger, more diverse and not only focused in Portugal. The first place I wrote down on it was Vila Nova de Milfontes. It has been a place i wanted to go to make photos ever since i started photographing.
At this moment in my life, I am traveling and spending my money, getting in return only experiences. I don't see myself going full-time traveler anytime soon. Right now, when I am traveling, I want to focus on my own projects and my own vision. I want to go where I want, no schedules, no meetings, no deadlines. Maybe I am too lazy to deal with all the behind the scenes stuff. When I travel, I am traveling to get away from having people telling me what to do.
Now that i talked a little about how my trip to New York came to be it is time to talk about all the planning involved. For now, it will be only about where to go, how to get there, where to eat, how much to spend, etc.
