It’s been a while since I updated you guys about anything. You know how it goes. Working a bit more than usual, not a lot to share or talk about. But I do, sometimes have a life, and I do like to go on adventures.
As you probably guessed by the title, the island of Madeira was my latest adventure.
I wanted to edit and post process all the photos before I could share with you where to go, where to eat, what to explore, how to get around, but since I arrived in Lisbon, I had no time to focus on the photos. I also don’t want to wait too long so I am taking a few hours to inspire you guys to travel to Madeira.
You all know I love photographing with the Fuji X100T. I never tried another camera for street photography, besides my old Canon 5D Mark II, and for me, the Fuji it is the best camera for street photography.
Before I give my final thoughts on my trip to Switzerland I been thinking that I am a happy guy and that i do appreciate more and more what i have and what and who makes part of my life. These thoughts came to mind a few minutes ago while i was listening/headbanging to Motorhead's Victory or Die.
If you know anything about me and the photography I like to make, you have noticed that I focused only on street photography during my time in Thailand. Sure, i did a few landscapes but nothing like i usually do.
At first, i thought about going to a few locations for landscapes. My idea was to go to the rice fields during sunset but once i realized that it was going to take more time then i wanted i decided to only do street photography and do landscapes from the places i was. Also, i didn't want to carry around my Canon 5D and all the stuff that comes with it. That is why i decided to take only the Fuji X100T with me for this trip.
Maybe the way I traveled across Thailand was not the best one, meaning starting in Bangkok, go to Chiang Mai, back to Bangkok to get to Phuket and finish again in Bangkok. But it was the cheapest way and more efficient I found.
Now that I had experienced Chiang Mai it was time to get to Phuket. It was also time to be on my own. My friend had decided to visit Cambodia instead. I was a bit jealous but i don't regret staying in Thailand.
